Starting of the tulip season.

Today we had the first show of tulip cultivators on the Dam square in the middle of town.
Only problem it was 5° C minus zero.
Despite the use of a lot of heaters some flowers didn't look so healthy.
But for the tourists and shoppers a bunch of free flowers was still a welcome present.

  1. Do tulips bloom in your winter or have these been grown in hot houses? Must be a wonderful sight.

    1. I am not sure, perhaps they are from hot houses but that is not custom for the tulip industry.
