Bad Luck.

Yesterday I went with Biebkriebels and daughter to Antwerp for the christmas market.
After three shots the battery of my camera was empty. Put in the reserve . Same story
Walked the whole day with camera and 2 lenses without making one photo. Still my family did.
Here one from me with churros in front of the town hall made by my daughter. In the 13 years I use a digital camera its the first time this happens. So when you check at home your battery and see everything green don't take it for granted. Between full and empty was very short in my case.

  5. Looking good there, s.c ! What a coincidence - t I arrived at work on Friday needing to take pictures at a school event and my battery suddenly showed low charge - had to rush downtown and buy an off-brand recharger and spare battery for good measure and future events. Worked out well, though :-)

  6. Very sad - at least your daughter had a camera with her. I have a generic spare battery for my main cameras so one is always charged waiting in my camera bag. I alternate their use. I also usually carry a spare camera card too.

  7. I would have been so bummed out. Lucky for you there were other cameras in your group. You look cold but undaunted in the photo. Love the waterfall of lights behind you.

  8. WEll I for one, love see your smiling face! That happened to me with some photography students. We went to a cemetery to shoot the Harvest Moon and my battery died after t wo shots. THey had great fun laughing about that one. Now I pack a spare battery and lots of cards. That reminds me...better go put them in the charger!
