Sunday bridges

Here in the Staalstraat you get two bridges. The first one is the common wooden bridge as seen on many locations in Amsterdam from 1860 and before . The iron one is from somewhere around 1900. The third bridge where I am standing on is also from steel but cannot be opened for boats.

  1. Nice street shot with the bridges thrown in as a bonus. The bridges are for boats?

Kaori These bridges are for all kind of traffic but the government made the street just for cyclist and walkers but sometimes the garbage van or the fire department use those bridges.
