  1. Doesn't look like it would fit but obviously just did, today!

  2. Nice! And I agree, it looks like "doesn't" but maybe they pulled down the bow or something?

  3. Must be the perspective you took the shot, because I have pretty good eyes for spaces and I'd have said that bow wouldn't make it through. OBVIOUSLY I'm wrong this time. Good timing, SC.

  4. Does the water level in the canals always remain the same?

  5. Do you know Ahmet Ögüt? (born 1981 in Diyarbakir, Turkey) is a conceptual artist living and working in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

I saw his interactive carousel, Waiting for a Bus in Christchurch New Zealand, and they credit him to be a Dutch Artist.

  7. Micheal they don't pull the bow down but had removed the so called deckhouse at the end of the boat. You can also see wooden planks to protect the upper level against scraping along the underside of the bridge.
Older bridges have an higher space to pass.

Wayne the waterlevel is mostly constant regulated with locks here and there.

Ann I don't know Ahmet Ogut.

Thank you all for visiting my blog.

  10. It almost looks like the boat is bending forward to get under the bridge. :)
